Daddy Nature (Rompa´s Reggae Shack) and Shumba Youth

Daddy Nature is an avid vinyl collector, with a collection spanning many genres including funk, soul, disco, reggae, dub, hip-hop, dubstep and jungle his sets are filled with eclectic mixes paying tunes from Dennis Brown and Mala to Task Force and Shy FX. With a guaranteed party starting selection Daddy Nature will get any crowd on their feet, he has been DJing since he brought his first pair of decks in 1997. Having appeared as a finalist in a Smirnoff DJ competiton in 2004 and winning the Wray and Nephew clash in both 2014 and 2015 he continues to provide the right vibe.

He’s a contributor for popular website Tune Of The Day and his residencies have included playing for Urban Nerds for 6 years, a regular show on one of London’s leading priate radio station’s, Déjà Vu from 2010 to 2012.

He recently released his first track “Morgan’s Rain” available on Born On Road records, a 140 tropical bass banger and has a record box full of dub plates ready for any occasion.  Make sure you catch one of his sets to judge for yourself.



Shumba Youth is a young vocalist and MC based in South London. His Zimbabwean and English roots influence both his unique sound and his relevant lyrical message. He regularly stirs up reggae and hip hop riddims and has become no stranger to dub, dancehall, jungle and afro beats. Shumba Youth has recently performed on stage with Mad Professor, Marcus Visionary, Iration Steppas and Channel One Soundsystem to name a few. While performing live around the UK as a solo artist, he can regularly be found on stage at venues around Europe. As the founding member of Positive Vibes Crew, he has taken the crew to festivals both in the UK and abroad. Their releases include "Around the world" EP and "Elevate" EP. Shumba Youth is currently working on several collaborative projects as well as his debut EP, set to be released soon.

Rompa’s Reggae Shack is dedicated to reggae in all it’s various forms, from dub, roots, steppas and digi to dancehall and jungle.
